PRINCE2

PRINCE (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is a structured method for effective management of any size or type of project.

It is the standard method for use in UK Government Departments and is used increasingly in the private sector, NHS and Local Government. Many multi-national companies and overseas governments have adopted the method, or integrated it within their existing project management approaches.

These are very intensive courses covering both Foundation and Practitioner levels. There are two examinations associated with the course; the Foundation and the Practitioner. For the convenience of delegates, there are three prospective attendance modes, Foundation, Practitioner and Integrated.

The Foundation mode consists of 3 days of study, Monday - Wednesday, culminating on Wednesday with the PRINCE2 Foundation examination, the results of which are communicated the same evening.

The Practitioner mode is 1 day, Thursday, largely examination practice, in preparation for the PRINCE2 Practitioner examination the following (Friday) morning.

These modes are attended in separate weeks according to the requirements of the delegates concerned.

The Practitioner examination cannot be undertaken without first achieving a pass at Foundation level. Finally, the integrated course consists of the Foundation and Practitioner modes combined during a single week.
